MALAYSIA: i-KAD Issuance Suspended Until Further Notice

The immigration authorities in Malaysia have announced that, effective 16 July 2019, the issuance of i-KAD identification cards for foreign nationals is suspended until further notice.

The i-Kad is optional, and allows travel within Malaysia without a passport.
