In today’s economy, the global movement of employees is an essential part of any successful business, thereby making immigration compliance a top priority. Companies must maintain robust, up-to-date processes and systems to effectively manage their employee mobility and ensure compliance with the various local, regional, national, and international laws. We can assist with the following:
We provide Chinese immigration consultation and training services to both small businesses and large multinationals. The global mobility of talent is an essential part of most successful organisations. As a result, maintaining migration compliance has become a top priority.
Your company must maintain robust processes and systems to manage the migration of your employees and demonstrate you are compliant with work authorization and immigration law and regulations. We provide the following consultation and training services to assist you in this.
Strategic Analysis
A successful global mobility strategy requires strong leadership and a clear direction to be communicated across the company. A centralised approach with standardised procedures requires substantial buy-in from the wider business. We will work with you to understand your migration challenges and provide advice and support in developing a strategy that works for your business.
Migration Consulting
Most HR staffs are not prepared or trained for the array of issues that can arise as a result of employee migration. We support our clients in developing a well-rounded immigration policy which clearly defines the process for employees and outlines the risks of non-compliance for their organisation.
We will work with your HR teams around the world to understand the specific nature of your business and develop a management policy and training program that is efficient, consistent, and robust. Effective corporate immigration policies include:
- Compliance assurance that your company has carried out the due diligence and is compliant with Chinese work authorization and immigration laws and regulations;
- Streamlined processes resulting in faster visa and permit issuance; and
- Improved communication within the company and clear understanding of roles and expectations of all parts of the business.
From reviewing policies already in place and making recommendations for improvements to developing and implementing a complete management policy and training program, we will tailor our services to your requirements.
Migration policies around the world are constantly changing. The consequences of non-compliance or being in breach of immigration requirements can lead to fines, entry bans for employees, and reputational damage to the business as a whole.
When employees go abroad – whether in traditional expatriation or on short term assignments and business travel – multinational companies face significant hidden risks with migration rules and regulations.
By identifying risks, applying the appropriate resources and an effective compliance program, and then monitoring exposure on an on-going basis, we help you to effectively manage these risks.
Newland Chase Immigration Audits
Migration authorities monitor and enforce compliance, scrutinising an organisation’s compliance after the grant of a company sponsored permit. Often this will take the form of a government audit, either announced or unannounced.
It is challenging for companies to keep up with the changing immigration law and policy, let alone adapting their own internal company processes to accommodate these changes. Your organisation needs to know what your compliance obligations are and identify any areas of risk and non-compliance that may be affecting your business, before working to address these through corrective or pre-emptive actions.
To assist your organisation in maintaining compliance, we provide the following services:
- Mock audits of your systems and processes to identify areas of risk and non-compliance;
- Audits of personnel files to identify missing documentation;
- Comprehensive audit reports with recommendations for addressing deficiencies; and
- Checklists and instructions to support you in this process.
